Liscensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), BSc, MBA, PhD
Dr. Kennedy, ND understands the power of naturopathic medicine both from a professional and personal perspective. She has always worked with a naturopathic doctor for her own health concerns and, in her professional role, she works with people to improve their health and feel their best.
She has a special interest in helping people resolve their anxiety, depression and/or gastrointestinal issues (heartburn, food sensitivities, diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and the like). However, she helps a wide range of individuals, from toddlers to seniors, with an extensive range of health concerns.
Dr. Kennedy believes naturopathic medicine is not about covering up symptoms but is a discipline that can be used to help uncover the cause. The body knows how to heal itself, especially when it is given what it needs. Finding the right approach will allow the body to move into balance and assist in resolving the symptoms.
But no two people are identical. Each person is unique and so are their needs. This is true both in illness and in health, so Dr. Kennedy, ND tailors a personalized treatment plan for each individual.
Her approach is to take time to listen, ask questions and understand what is going on in your world, not only in your physical body but also with your emotional self.
She will do a complete physical examination and, if appropriate, additional laboratory testing to further investigate any imbalances and provide additional insights. Once she has all the information from your interview, examination and test results, she will develop a treatment plan specifically tailored for you.
Your treatment plan can incorporate botanical medicine (the use of plants that have healing properties), nutrition and diet modification, supplements/nutraceuticals (vitamins, minerals, etc), homeopathy, acupuncture and hydrotherapy.
Dr. Kennedy, ND qualified at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and also holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Toronto. She has advanced training in environmental medicine, how genetics can influence our health, children’s mental health and treatment strategies, and advanced herbal medicines. She has also completed physician training in Lyme Disease.
Her experience also includes clinical research with Sickkids Motherisk and the naturopathic college and she uses that knowledge to ensure her treatment approach is evidence informed and directed towards those approaches that work best in practice.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, M.OMsc
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Amit’s initial interest in osteopathy developed through his own experience with injuries from the gym, and the benefits he gained through osteopathy. After experiencing the overall health benefits attained from osteopathy for himself and his family through its holistic approach, he was immersed and fascinated by this timeless art and science.
Amit is a proud graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, a school which teaches Classical Osteopathy from the humble beginnings of Osteopathic literature and puts a large emphasis in hands on practice with the intensive 4-year program. He is currently a member of Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA).
Osteopathic Manual Therapy is an integrative health therapy taking into consideration all the systems in the body. Amit uses gentle and effective manual treatments to explore the body’s ability to self heal and self regulate. His treatments work to promote and help patients sustain a healthy lifestyle. His philosophy and practise is always focussed to deal with the root cause of the health concern and not just the symptoms. He works very closely with the patient and uses the principles of Classical Osteopathy as put forward by Dr. A.T. Still to realign and rebalance the body so that it can perform its optimal function.

Wing Sum -CURRENTLY ON MAT LEAVE
Registered Massage Therapist – RMT,HBHSc
Wing whole heartedly understands that good health is the cornerstone of a gratifying and blissful life. She has always been drawn to volunteering, studying and practicing in the field of health. She was fortunate enough to gain first-hand experiences helping people in remarkable places such as Sick Kids Hospital, Sunnybrook and senior’s homes. These terrific exposures to wonderful healthcare professionals propelled her to become a loving and compassionate person as she worked towards her Honors Bachelor of Health Sciences degree.
Hungry to learn more about how intricate the human body really is, and how powerful it can become at healing itself (if we just allow it the right conditions), Wing found herself deeply intrigued by traditional Chinese medicine philosophies. She admires and appreciates their methodology of looking at the body as a whole, and seeking the root cause of a health concern, rather than simply treating its symptoms.
Wing strives to apply these same philosophies to her true calling—in the world of massage therapy. She loves working with her hands and believes in the magic of human touch in the healing process. She feels deeply honoured to have been able to heal individuals in rehab clinics, gyms, and spas in the past. She is delighted to now continue to do so at Dynamic Health Therapy, alongside a fantastic group of healthcare professionals, and is ecstatic to implement her great affections for pediatric massage.
