Katie is a member of the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario in excellent standing with 20+ years of experience. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Toronto with Honors in Pharmacology/Toxicology program. She further pursued her degree in Physical Therapy at UofT. Her career started at Scarborough General Hospital where she practiced Physiotherapy in different settings such as Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology and Orthopedics. She comes with extensive exposure to Musculoskeletal issues such as fractures, Sports injuries and Post surgical repairs and rehabilitation.
Throughout her career she has been given the opportunity to mentor students in physiotherapy and physiotherapy assistant programs.
She has taken many postgraduate courses and comes with certifications in Advanced Physiotherapy, Manual Therapy, and McKenzie Programs. She is also Certified in provision of Compression Hosiery and Orthopaedic devices/braces.
Katie likes to travel and experience different cultures. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and exploring new trails with her dog.
