Clinic Manager

Svetlana graduated from the National Academy of Health and Business in Toronto for Office Management and Dental Chair-side Assistant.

 

 

Growing up in the small town of Uxbridge, she knew she wanted to continue living in an intimate community and she later bought her first house in Jackson’s Point where she lives with her husband, son, and toy poodle. If she’s not behind the desk, she enjoys hot yoga, running and spending time with her family and friends.

Jessica has an extensive background in health and fitness.  Her commitment to helping others reach their health potential as a martial arts coach has given her the motivation to look at healthcare and the body with a keen interest. 

 

 

Jess loves a challenge and to push herself to the limit.  Jess believes that through endurance, belief in oneself, and dedication to being authentic can lead anyone to their highest potential.  In her spare time you’ll find her on the mat, at the gym, or pursuing personal development opportunities. 


 

Kyle

Dr. Kyle Bendell

Chiropractor, DC, BHK, MRes, CSCS

Dr. Bendell attended the University of Windsor where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree (Hon BHK). Dr. Bendell then attended Bangor University in Wales, UK and obtained a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology (MRes).

Dr. Bendell earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from New York Chiropractic College where he completed advanced diplomas in Sport Science and Human Performance as well as Whole Food Nutrition graduating on the Dean’s list.

He has furthered his education completing courses in Medical Acupuncture, Functional Anatomy, Activator Method, Prague School of Athletic Development, Thompson Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Graston technique and more.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Bendell is passionate about educating and empowering his patients to take an active role in their health. Having worked with children, families, geriatrics and professional athletes, he has developed a diverse skill set equipped to help patients preserve, maintain and improve the well-being and performance of their bodies. His belief is to treat the whole body by balancing and harmonizing the interdependent systems to achieve improved form and function.

Nima

Nima

Physiotherapist, PT

Nima is a Registered Physiotherapist with years of clinical experience in out-patient and in-patient orthopaedic and sports medicine. He graduated with a degree in Medical Sciences in 2007. Nima worked with one of the most popular international soccer cubs for two years before running his own clinic in Tehran.

 

He took further education courses including Spinal Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, Myofascial Release, Taping and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. His passion for learning has provided him with a comprehensive knowledge to treat his patients. Outside of courses and the clinic he can usually be found in his home photography Studio, spending time with his family and friends.

Clinical Assistant/Registered Kinesiologist

Luke has graduated with his Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University.

His interest in the rehabilitative field stemmed back to his younger years, coming from a large family and seeing how older family members aged both physically and mentally; as well as being actively involved in numerous sports. This has encouraged his motivation in learning how to prevent and recover successfully from injuries as effectively as possible.

 

 

Furthered education has provided Luke with the opportunity to work alongside the general population, athletes and individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. Luke’s primary focus includes exercise as medicine, the biomechanics of movement and is relation to injury assessment/rehab and holistic rehabilitation techniques. His goal is to deliver the most effective quality treatment to the community.

Emily graduated from Georgian College in April 2020 from the Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist Assistant program.

 

 

She experienced first hand what it was to work with a large variety of clients for example: MVA, trauma, chronic illness, Emergencies and cognitive conditions.

Maria graduated from Seneca College from the Law Clerk program. She worked many years in family and estate law serving York Region and surrounding area. Maria had her daughter in 2012 and decided to change her focus from law to healthcare. Working in a busy physiotherapy clinic in Woodbridge she learned the ins and outs of claim processing and assisting clients to get the care they needed after motor vehicle accidents. 

 

 

 

Maria led the administration team on all matters relating to front desk billing, insurance and benefits, and accounts. In her spare time Maria loves spending time with her daughter, cooking Italian feasts, and spending time with her husband and family.

Julia Graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and minors in the Rehab sciences and Human Nutrition. A childhood filled with gymnastics, cheerleading, and home-cooking made living healthy enjoyable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now Julia uses her experience in the Applied health sciences and Kinesiology to encourage others to lead healthy lives and reach their fullest performance and rehabilitative potential.

Jim

Registered Massage Therapist, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

 

 

Coming from a family populated with Olympians, world record holders, and national level athletes, Jim has been immersed in the world of athletics and extreme sports nearly from birth.

After honing his diagnostic skills during many years as a Field Engineer for BMW North America he returned to school to become an Osteopath and turn his skills from working on high powered machinery to helping people leverage their body’s innate ability to heal itself and maximize their performance.

Jim has a diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Theory & Practice from the Osteopathic College of Ontario. Jim is also a graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College, with honours and is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Jim is also a Certified Bioflex Laser Clinician. 

 

 

 

 

 

When approaching treatment Jim takes a client-centered approach. You can expect him to involve you in the diagnosis of your pain, the techniques used in each session, as well as the exercises prescribed. Techniques offered by Jim are both direct and indirect – he addresses the pain, as well as the structures and systems causing the pain.

Jim’s treatment modalities are particularly tuned to people with a sensitive nature and he treats people fully clothed (i.e. shorts and a t-shirt / yoga clothes / or religiously appropriate garments at the client’s discretion).

Stanislav

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Acupuncture Therapist

M.Sc. DOMP., R.Ac.P

 

Studying health and fitness has always been an interest for Stanislav and therefore he initially completed an undergraduate degree in Physical culture and sport at the faculty of Sports Medicine in Uzbekistan. Stanislav found the foundation of this program fascinating, and learned about disease in great detail, but wanted to further his knowledge in order to work more closely with athletes. Coming from a professional background in Judoka, he knew how important it is to helps athletes reduce their pain and recover quickly after sport injuries. After graduating University, Stanislav immigrated to Israel and was part of the National Judo teams. With a 5 dan in Judo, he competed at National and European championships in Judo.

His first experience in Osteopathy was under the supervision of a famous professor named Om Kogan in 1991.

 

 

 

Professor Kogan had worked with Russian cosmonauts and had been responsible for their rehabilitation after space flights. Stanislav was strongly encouraged by Kogan to pursue further studies in Osteopathy. The following year Stanislav attended the “University of Traditional Medicine” and “Association of Manual Medicine” in Israel. Seeing the exceptional knowledge base and holistic approach these fields of study offered, he never looked back. The skills he learned in both courses have provided him with a very good breadth of knowledge when treating people. Always looking to learn more, Stanislav went on to study in Canada at the “Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy” and graduated with a Diploma of Osteopathy. He also studied at The Canadian College Holistic Health and graduated with a Diploma of Acupuncture practitioner.  Stanislav began his practice in Canada in 2009 and has a passion for bringing quick results to clients in all walks of life.
